End user licence agreement

This draft is the licence that comes with the BI Compass desktop application. It covers the installed software, separate from the website terms.
What you may do
Install and use BI Compass on the number of PCs your licence allows, for your own learning at work or at home.
Keep a copy of the installer for reinstalling on a PC you have activated.
What you may not do
Copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the installer or its content, or share licence credentials.
Reverse engineer the software except where the law says you may, or remove the licence check.
Activation and updates
The app checks in to confirm your features. It continues to work offline for the grace period shown in your portal.
Updates may change or remove features as the software it explains changes.
Ownership
BI Compass and its content remain the property of the publisher. This licence grants use, not ownership.
Power BI is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. BI Compass is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
No warranty and termination
The software is provided as is, without a warranty that Power BI's interface will not change.
This licence ends if you break these terms. On termination you must stop using the software and remove it.
