Terms of service

You need an account to activate a PC. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

One account is for one person or, on a team plan, for the seats you have bought.

Each plan allows a set number of activated PCs, shown in your portal. You can remove a PC and activate another at any time.

The desktop app works offline for a grace period after its last check. If the check cannot renew, premium features stop until it can.

A trial gives you paid features for a fixed period without payment details. When it ends, your account returns to the free tier unless you subscribe.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Do not share your licence credentials, resell access, or attempt to bypass the licence check.

Do not use the app to break the terms of the software it runs alongside.

The teaching content, the app and this website belong to BI Compass. Your reports and data belong to you; we never receive them.

Features may change as Power BI changes. We aim to keep explanations accurate but do not promise that a third-party interface stays identical.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country. The final published version will name the governing jurisdiction.
